Snow and get stuck in the ditch

Snow is coming this week and everything is covered with fluffy white snow. It is so beautiful everywhere, I was heading back to home Friday night, I rode with Cody, and everything was completely  covered with the snow, the only thing is I felt as if I was lost. Normally I could tell where am I now with snow covered all the grounds I can barely tell and so I feel lost in the middle of this ocean snow and rely completely on Cody's intuition.

what surprise me was how the road now looks like a mess, and there was a car, get stuck in the ditch. It becomes a sudden phenomena during winter season, especially the first time of snow like this. Road becomes really slippery and you have to drive slower and carefully.


It is Saturday morning, and snow has stopped falling. usually the road will be ploughed but it's not happening today. We were planning to go to Minnesota State Capitol and Mall of Americas so I had to get up at six. Gees it was weekend for God's sake. Anyway, because the road is slippery we need to drive slower which I hate, so we were heading North to St. Paul. Fortunately, in Adams the road has been ploughed all the way to St. Paul So there is no snow on the road anymore. 

That's how the ploughed road looks like.
Now, we will go to the main topic. Stuck in the ditch, you can see there was so many car accidentally slid over to the ditch and get stuck there waiting for the toll truck to help. It was so hilarious, can you imagine if your car sliding on the road and a minute later you end up stuck in the ditch hahaha

but however snow make everything seems new to me, I love snow. I love how I freeze, how I was amazed how the sun can turn so bright. Snow makes my ears hurt but it worth the fun. One night I made a snow angle, but since it was dark i couldn't take a picture so I took a picture from someone else. it's how it looks like.

 or I could actually ride a snowmobile in the back yard.
These are some picture of the town of Lyle where I had some cookie exchange. it's kinda like family tradition and I think it's pretty sweet.

how to stay sane (Repost from September 2012)

we all not need to be lectured, our ego says. apart from this little fact that we're tired of being told, or being faced to facts we're not ready to see. I, for one, still have to get up early and make lecture right at 7 in the morning. get home before noon, catching up from absorbing tremendous amount of facts that has been delivered nonstop from a week ago. the air is still for adjustments, re-adapting to new culture and environment. Big city is not an easy place to live and fit in, and I think, as a former exchange student, I know rather well, what it takes to make that adaptation work. Letting Go

Fear can be a debilitating force, I have unwittingly stopped myself from writing largely due out of fear of making bad writing. I have accepted the fact that I may not be able to craft the best piece out here, but rather to let go of an increasingly disturbing noise existing inside my head. Noise of being misunderstood. I will let go, let go of the need to make a structured thematic writing. Let go of the desire to impulsively check the grammar and the punctuation.
